Situated within the Samalbong Kharsang area, this village is only 27 kilometers away from the heart of Kalimpong. The distance from Siliguri/ NJP is approximately 74 to 79 kilometers.
How to Reach Samalbong
If traveling from Siliguri/NJP, you can hire a private vehicle directly to Samalbong. The fare for a car ride is around 3500-4500 INR (varying for small and large vehicles). Alternatively, you can take shared vehicles: first, travel to Kalimpong from Siliguri and then take another shared vehicle to reach Samalbong.
When opting for shared vehicles, it's crucial to keep track of their departure times. You can coordinate with the homestay where you plan to stay for information on the shared vehicle schedule.
